Partnering for Skills, Growth and Learning Across Europe

Movant is a Swedish education provider specializing in adult vocational education and training (VET) at EQF levels 4–5. We combine hands-on learning with strong industry collaboration, ensuring that our students are ready for employment as soon as they graduate.

With over 2,500 learners across Sweden, Movant works closely with companies, unions, and public organizations to make sure our programs meet real labor market needs.

What We Offer

Vocational Programs

We provide high-quality, practical training at two qualification levels:

  • EQF Level 4: Carpentry, Electrician, Floristry, Hairdressing, Automotive Mechanic, Plumbing
  • EQF Level 5 (Polytechnic): Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology, Software Development – Embedded Systems

Students can also combine their vocational studies with Swedish language training, supporting integration and employability in Sweden.

Entry Requirements

Movant’s programs are offered within the framework of Swedish municipal adult education and the Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen).
To be eligible for our programs, applicants must:

  • Have sufficient Swedish language skills to follow the training, and
  • Be approved and granted a study place by a municipality or the Public Employment Service.

At this time, Movant does not offer direct admission for international applicants.

Online and Corporate Training

Movant develops online certification and safety courses that meet Swedish workplace requirements.
We also design customized learning solutions for companies and partner schools based on specific skills needs. All online courses are flexible and fully remote, allowing learners to study at their own pace.

International Cooperation

Movant engages in selected international collaborations that promote professional development and knowledge exchange within vocational and adult education.
Our current focus is on partnerships in Italy, which remain our main area of cooperation for the foreseeable future.

Through these partnerships, we aim to strengthen both pedagogical competence and industry expertise.

We take part in:

  • Hosting teachers and educators in training
  • Hosting invited experts
  • Participating in international courses and development projects
  • Sending teachers abroad for teaching, training and job shadowing

We also cooperate with European companies within our vocational sectors that wish to host LIA (work-based learning) students from Sweden.
